ABOUT BURNS, TN – HAPPY TO BE YOUR HOMETOWN HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACTOR!

Burns, Tennessee is a small town within the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin Metro Statistical Area. As of 2017, 1,500 people resided here. Originally known as Mile Post 36, the community was inhabited by railroad workers and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Since then, the community has grown, and with the intersection of Interstate 840 and Interstate 40 in the vicinity, residential growth, and economic development are only expected to continue during the 21st century.

While Burns is a small community, there are a few interesting destinations located here. Montgomery Bell State Park is a great place to fish, go for a hike, or camp with the family, while golf enthusiasts may like to book a tee time at Montgomery Bell Golf Course or the Frank G. Clement Golf Course. The Burns Recreational Complex offers four ball fields, while Mark Whitaker Memorial Park and Lonesome Pioneer Park also provide outdoor recreational opportunities. There are also a couple of restaurants located in Burns, including Sir Pizza and Los Rancheros.

Proper climate controls at home are a necessity in Burns, as weather conditions are vastly different throughout the season. Winters here are mild to cool, and while average daily highs stay in the 40s, overnight lows can be frigid. While some residents choose a typical furnace system for their home heating needs, a heat pump can provide both warming and cooling action year-round. These versatile systems offer efficiency and reliability throughout the year, heating a home in the winter and cooling it during the hotter months.

Summer weather in Burns tends to be hot and humid. With average high temperatures often reaching the 90s, locals need the right cooling system at home. For residents who select a central air conditioner, it is important to note that federal regulations require a minimum SEER value of 13 on all newly-installed systems. However, higher ratings will equate to greater energy efficiency.
