Dana Tidwell, the owner of Tidwell & Sons HVAC, has been immersed in the HVAC industry since 1993. He embarked on his journey as an apprentice installer for a local HVAC company in Dickson, gaining valuable experience along the way. Over the years, Dana also worked with two other reputable HVAC companies in Clarksville.

In 2008, driven by a vision to create something lasting for his family, he established Tidwell & Sons HVAC. Throughout the company’s history, Dana’s two sons have actively participated in various roles, contributing to its growth and success.

As he looks to the future, Dana takes pride in the prospect of his four remaining granddaughters potentially continuing the family legacy by taking the reins of the business. With a strong foundation and a commitment to excellence, Tidwell & Sons HVAC stands as a testament to Dana’s dedication and the potential for future generations to carry forward the family’s proud tradition.

Robby Murphy, the Install Manager at Tidwell & Sons HVAC, has been an integral part of the company since 2010. Notably, he is also the brother-in-law of owner Dana Tidwell. From the early days of the business, Robby worked closely with Dana to establish and develop the company. Recognizing his exceptional skills and dedication, Robby was promoted to the position of Install Manager in 2021. In this role, he assumes responsibility for overseeing installation crews for both existing homes and new construction projects. With his extensive experience and commitment to delivering top-notch service, Robby plays a vital role in ensuring that Tidwell & Sons HVAC continues to provide exceptional installations and meet the needs of our valued customers.
